John Choukhadarian for Satisfiction
What is surprising in the books of Elizabeth Bucciarelli, is the perfect pitch, impeccable diction. Never once you miss a note, and that phrasing, diction, which, how many stamps and coloratura. I believe in you back on stage Maria Dolores Vergara, the inspector of police torturing beautiful and already known in the previous I forgive you. Vergani, 1.75 to less than 50 pounds, is under house arrest, suspected of murder. Around her, the world is represented in all its horror: young people who lost weight to death in search of the absolute, large crosses that appear in a Milan never so bleak, willing the career of a policeman, a colleague of Maria Dolores Vergara, is bound to her by an estimate which borders the 'obsession. Is not enough, the lawyer for her, moving with the ways and constitute a public prosecutor. In this bedlam, Bucciarelli is oriented with ease. Use short term, short sentences, punctuation rigorous - a language that appears to mimic the body Vergani and, sometimes, those of the young anorexic emaciated (body and body-text, happy obsessions of the writer!). Luckily there Bucciarelli, really. If the price of the Italian novel offers Nicola Lagioia, Antonio dark or Andrea Vitali (the names are chosen at random), who prefers to live a steal, alluding instead of assert. To hint does not mean avoiding major speeches, apparently little romance themes: truth, forgiveness, relationships of force in a pair. There's all this, the book Vergani, and there is from the perspective of a woman, both from that of a man because Bucciarelli knows the people, is curious and has developed quite a feeling (it is only good education that is called the savage). Corsair and ropes, Vergani inspector colleagues, in fact, men are recognizable, and Bucciarelli tells passions mistakes rudeness with genuine pity, desire understanding.
the end, the decision is pending. Elisabetta Bucciarelli, Maria Dolores and her Vergani, have no truth to give. The narrative makes sense if it creates problems, if challenges to issues not transient, if it pursues an ethic. Bucciarelli's books, and this perhaps more than others, are written so. John
