Dear Friends Fashion Ground, I'm back in this end of August for a big welcome address.
First, I believe we must thank the students who have just completed the first year and are preparing to enter the second.
In these few days of vacation I kept them always in my thoughts and revising them in this difficult year, I can be proud of them have worked so hard. They have studied and worked a lot.
I think none of them expected a year so intense and full of things to make and design. Of course, the Academy has entered into a kind of watershed between two totally different worlds: high school and academic studies.
Study in Fashion Ground Academy is not easy, especially because the goals are excellence. The understanding of a new method of study, in fact, calls into question all the learning strategies used in the past: the contents learned mnemonically no longer needed. Chanting "parrot" produces nothing more than a barren string of words without meaning.
The new pedagogy is actually directed towards the understanding of processes and products and on methods of problem solving and planning.

I do not go far if I imagine that the greatest source of stress (or fatigue) of our students has been triggered by change management. Despite the assurance of our continued support, some of them have developed a "physiological" lack of motivation to study, but the results obtained and the high marks are a sincere reflection of a change that has occurred successfully.
study today - train and educate their talent - is not simple: we need to make a major effort and engage in activities with passion and devotion responsible for what will be the profession of their life. The alternative, of course, decide to take a step back to something easier and certainly more "comfortable", but certainly less self-realization. Needs, to that effect, make a choice of field.

The boys of the first year, those who come in Fashion Ground in the academic year 2010/2011, I would give the security of a personal project that will take place. This, of course, depend on both what the teachers by students. Teachers will submit the operational tools and methodology to understand and work in fashion. Pupils, however, the task of not losing that spark of passion for fashion, but to transform it into a perpetual fire, fueled by enthusiasm, curiosity, playfulness and, of course, creativity.
Each of you has a creative talent, a huge potential that needs to be fully expressed. It is very important to this end, embrace change, believe in yourself always. Fatigue can sometimes lick your hearts and your intentions, but I hope that, ultimately, your goal will take precedence over everything.
The world of work - Perhaps imagine - it is very competitive. To enter and to survive we need a complete self-denial, a sincere desire to look more and more to the goal keeping and a psychological desire to enrich themselves as much as possible of knowledge, skills and abilities. We exist for that. Trust us!
